How does it work?

Contrary to what some Agile training companies will tell you you can pick and choose which parts of Agile to implement. Teams and organizations should tailor Agile to their specific needs.

Here are the things we’ve implemented over the past two years that have helped us overcome our biggest SEO challenges. You can try them all, or

Work in Progress (WIP) limit

WIP is the list of tasks that are currently in progress. It is your primary focus on the things that need to be done.

The WIP limit is a reasonable limit for the number of europe cell phone number list  tasks you can handle at any given time and still ensure continuous progress.

Our WIP limit helps us have enough time for all task including the small and repetitive tasks we often have in SEO (and which get stalled so easily), and ہماری مدد کرتا ہےfocus each day on what’s really important.

Team Task Board

1.  Backlog: Our next tasks

2.  In progress: current work

  • Projects
  • Small jobs (less than 3 work hours)
  • Ongoing work (repeated work)

3.  Review: Done and awaiting internal review.

4.  Done: Completed on our end.

  • Assigned to another department.
  • Pipeline: Queued in the company’s pipeline (backlog)
  • Track: The project is live – it is on integrating automation tools  the board as a reminder to track its results.

To guarantee a smooth workflow we need to ensure that the backlog is constantly updated with the next big things.

The board allows me to stay on top of everything find list  the team is working on but also change priorities in seconds, if needed.

Prioritizing tasks

When talking about prioritization, I first think of the 80/20 rule (Pareto principle).

Here, the rule means that 80% of the benefit comes from 20% of the resources (and it doesn’t have to be an exact 80/20 split). Think about the number of pages on your site that generate the majority of your page views and sessions. The number of keywords that bring in the majority of your organic traffic. The referrals that build your business; and even the links that generate the majority of your SEO value. From every perspective you can’t deny that most of the value you create from your work comes from a small percentage of your actions.
