As someone who is in the middle of starting my own personal blog, these particular takeaways really resonate with me:
Give SEO some love. For many marketers, SEO is a this element of your website is hurting your customer experience. no-brainer, but it’s often difficult to convince bloggers that SEO is important. The fact is that search is growing exponentially. There are over 6 billion searches performed every day, and guess what? 80% of clicks go to organic results. That’s where SEO comes in. Be authentic. Connect with your audience through familiarity and by being genuine. This will not only help you grow a loyal and dedicated following but will also build a find list relationship between you and your readers. There is no one better than your own voice to speak for you.
Be patient. Don’t panic if something isn’t working. Traffic doesn’t happen overnight, but if you stick to your guns and persist with your efforts, the results will be rewarding. Also, don’t be afraid to change it up and try new things if you have to.
